I had an interesting day today.
After I started my computer I discovered that I couldn't access certain web sites. Not just any web sites. My browser wouldn't allow me to open my own blog and it wouldn't allow me "backstage" to post new comments.
It also wouldn't allow me to enter Cafe Pharma.
Interesting, don't you think?
Turns out someone I trust yesterday forwarded an email from someone I don't trust.
Very interesting. Me thinks. May not mean anthing. But could mean a lot.
So guys, it worked. But only this time. (If this blog stays silent several days, go to PharmaGossip. He'll tell you what's up.
Because, now I'm BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!

I've been unable to get into neither my "account" nor "Truthout Town Meeting" at Truthout.org for several weeks. The links don't even appear for me. And nobody returns my email.
If anyone has an account there, could you tell me if you have access to it? Thanks.
Sorry about your troubles, as well, Peter. It can be frustrating at times.

Hahahahaha.
You are really funny!
Why don't you post your name? Too shy?
:)
Interesting things you run into Doc.
Wonder what can be done to stop it?
More firewall stuff? I keep trying to remember about a site where you can have your email run through first, but it escapes me completely.
Keep up the good work Doc, you are obviously under their skin pretty badly.
Best thing you can do to avoid this is
Give up MICROSOFT outlook FOR GOOD.
I use web-based mail, with FIREFOX.
Firefox DOESN't have a mail reader inside it, so wont automagically open attachments
I seem to recall the most important thing about outlook is that you need to prevent certain file types from
ever executing
For example heap messages (scrap extension) (shs) are normally execute rights automaticlly.
You can use the tools/folder/options menus on the "My Computer" menu.
Under file types, type an s until you come to the shs details (in middle of box)
mine says opened by shell scrap object handler
Change this.
Click CHANGE
in the OPEN with box that comes up, select NOTEPAD.
Now you will NOT be able to be infected by an attached *.shs file attached to a message.
You will need to google to find other filenames to change to "open with notepad"
