Yes, it was very entertaining. But I already had a deep apreciation for classical music from Sat. morning cartoons!

In other news, Huffy took her sweet time, but finally banned me from commenting on her? site.

Our friend Greg has quite a post up. Some of his "75 questions" are below:

"-If HuffPo is Blog Apartheid, is Dr. Rost Little Steven?
- what happened to all the free napkin art from David Mamet and the music from his wife?
-Why does yacomink keep sending pictures of his feet?
- How come my entry for the Huffpo contagious festival keeps getting ignored?
- I put it in a bag
-Why are the bio pictures so creepy, mine not included?
- Is the HuffPo whiter than Denmark?"

And so it goes...

I've seen her and there is another group of all girls doing the same thing. Fascinating to watch, but if they were all guys, would it have the same impact?

I've always been a fan of classical. My Classical CD collectin slightly outnumbers my rock n roll collection.

I'm still a sucker for the "Classics" like Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony #5. oooo I love that piece. AND his 9th Symphony is just a great piece.

Dvorak is another fav and Holst's The Planets has been a favorite of mine since I first heard it in the early 70's.

Bolero has been a favorite since the 60's(long before "10") BUT one of my all time favorites is PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION by Mussorsky first brought to my attention by Emerson, Lake and Palmer. That and Night on Bald Mountain.

AND if you really want to hear a great version of it, track down Pictures At An Exhibition conducted by Ravel (famous for Bolero). You can hear his moorish influence in his very very slight changes.

OH well I could go on and on. I love Classical.

My heart still belongs to hard rock and southern rock. The Allman Brothers Band in it's day was the best band in the world bar none.
