Celebrate Pfizer Day

Those of you who have followed my posts know that I am sometimes critical of Big Pharma.

Then again, I've spent almost twenty years in the drug business, so clearly I also think they do a lot of good. I know not everyone agrees with that.

Anyway, I thought rather than having a number of entries that criticize pharma, I should also now and then write something supportive. I already did so in my post, Viagra for Children.

Since Pfizer is the largest drug company, I'll use them as an example. And it is up to you to determine if this is tongue-in-cheek or not.

First, here you get an idea of how the Pfizer people look at themselves, this is an internal video from some rather boring areas, such as manufacturing and tech services. But they apparently live an exciting life:

And here's the Viagra commercial I wish Pfizer would run in the U.S. They didn't, but apparently found it suitable for Saudi Arabia(!):

And finally, here's a Viagra commercial from Canada:

Financial disclosure: I have not received any reimbursement from Pfizer for running these commercials. I just wanted to take time out to celebrate some of the beautiful things Pfizer has done for humanity.

Pfizer may be the devil, but kudos to their ad agency. The Viagra ads are hilarious.
