American nothing.
New Smart car coming soon.

Of course it is American - Nothing in a Smart car. On the other hand in a Dumb Ka, it's American everything. The Big3 continue with their production of Transportation Appliances, not cars. In fact they have no cars to sell. The dumb SUV's and those still large full size TAs are just keeping them alive. Once BIG3 have trickled down to big3 with getting smaller by the day. Why? Very complicated but we all know it. Take for instance the GM's Mr. Lutz their designer genious. It took him well over 15 years to finally realise that the cars designed in Europe should not be "Americanized" when sold in USA. From now on they will sell them as they are in Europe, says he.How genious after so much time. Ford is no different. Remeber Contour and Mistique? Both were derived from hugely seccessful Mondeo still sold in Europe. They were Americanized for US market and had to be taken off market in 4-5 years as failures. Mondeo sells on. The Smart will stay the way Swatch designed it and the way Mercedes builds it. This way the success is assured. As for the former BIG3 they may learn a leson after all once they start building cars people want. It is that simple.
