Outraged Lehman Bros. employees stage a protest by blockading the entrance to the bank’s headquarters…
Yes, super funny but I don't think it is an exaggaration. Countless (many at least) at LB and other predatory banks and brokerages have made millions in salaries and commissions. Some in hundreds and quite a few in thousands of millions. Unbeliavable. At the hight of the "gorging frenzy" they took in one moth over $30.000.000.000.00 in bonuses. An amount that is so large that many nations have smaller yearly budgets. When you extort that kind of money from unsuspected people it comes sooooo easy that buying a Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini or any car no matter how exotic and expensive becomes just another out of pocket expense. And exotic car is just one small part of pigging out they did while this never before seen *&^^% frenzy took place. Are they to blame? Yes but not alone. Those who let them do it and encouraged them by giving them the free hand and rules free rules to do it, are just as to blame. What about us, the people? Yes we are guilty too. How many times they did it to us in recent history? Many. More than 3 times? Of course. Remeber the proverbial one:"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me so many times and I have to say I am a moron who deserves it, period". Now this anciant proverbila saying is complete, thanks to, well, little old me.
Is it just in the US that there is such disparity between a company's CEO and its worker's salaries and bonus'...or does that also happen a lot in Europe?

Very funny, Peter. But is it an exaggeration?

It's good times for the repo man. OTH, you can probably get a good deal on a Ferrari at a car auction.
(I found this video more sad than funny:)
