Fox News demagogue, Bill O'Reilly, has been hacked and the details passed to Wikileaks.
Wikileaks has been informed the hack was a response to the pundit's scurrilous attacks over the Sarah Palin's email story--includingon Wikileaks and other members of the press, Hacktivists, thumbing their noses at the pundit, took control of O'Reilly's main site, BillOReilly.com.
According to our source, the security protecting O'Reilly's site and subscribers was "non-existent". The following image, submitted to Wikileaks and confirmed by Wikileaksstaff, offers proof of the hack. The image, clearly obtained from Bill Oreilly.com's administrative interface, shows a detailled list-- including passwords -- of Bill Oreilly.com subscribers.
Although Wikileaks has only released one page, it must be assumed that Bill O'Reilly's entire subscriber list is, as of now, in the publicdomain.

And not a single strong password among em...
they are subscribers to bill oreilly's website... im not really sure what u expect.
So what if passwords are weak? Most people have a few throw away passwords anyway. Really the public needs to start looking at why "registering" for every goddamn site is needed anyway. And another thing... people should be punished just for being a member of a site? NO. Even if it was NAMBLA or the KKK. USA, last I checked is a free country, is not? And people do have a right to privacy. The poster could have easily made their point by blurring out user specific info. But instead they wanted to stoop to the lowest level by >punishing< all the subscribers with fear. Pffft. Hackers? More like fascist assholes.
Regardless of what the user's passwords were, why would any MySQL database EVER save passwords as plain text without the slightest hint of even a basic md5 encryption?
The lowest level is not the one taken by these 'facists' as you termed them, but rather by the coder that knows nothing of security.
Bill is going to shit a kidney when he sees this
I'll be sure to watch it on youtube
This is not right, I hate O'Liely as much as the next person but this is like bombing civilians during war. These people, even though they have the bad judgment to subscribe to Bill O, still have the right to privacy.
Just because you can hack and expose these people doesn't mean you should.
It makes the hackers look more petty then O'Reilly and if you don't think Bill and his right wing friends wont use this to push for more control of the internet you're fooling yourselves.
Do I see "Dennis Miller" in that list?!
We as a nation REALLY need to stop the internal warfare and tone down the dialogue. Liberals and Conservatives are not enemies. They have a different viewpoint on how to achieve a better society. The talking heads in search of ever higher ratings keep amping up the discord, and it is having a truly tragic effect. The Alaska Conservative talk show host who gave away the numbers of women organizing a protest, who then received death threats, is no different than the hackers who released all this personal information of individuals who signed up for Bill O'Reilly's site.
Please, if people really do love America, as so many claim. The internecine warfare between the Left and Right needs to get back to a more civil tone. We need to be able to disagree without being disagreeable, or even disasterous!
I don't like him either, but there had to be another way to provide proof of the hack.
Do people seriously just use words as their passwords?? What about that rule that a password should always be a mix of numbers and letters?
oldfags need new passwords; now let us join hands and all pray for passwords 8 characters or less.
Bill is mad of blacks because his wife use to be flav Flav's jump offs.
I love hackers!
Yeah!!!
