How times have changed? Remember the famous taking down of Sadam's monument? The American sodiers were doing the physical job with help by USA army's armor that pulled it down. At the same time, when the bronze likeness hit the ground, what happened? Those "liberated" flowers throwing Iraqies took their shoes off and they hit Sadam all over with them. The biggest sigh of disrespect, hatred and disgust. Hit me with the sword, thank you. Hit me with the shoe, you offended me beyond the biggest offence. That is their culture and now we see our own soon to be the worse x prez, getting the same treatment but in person and live.
Just reflects the state of his presidency and respect he has by those he "liberated".
Yes, how times have changed, to the better. Especially in Jan, 2009, can't wait.
Good riddance Mr. Prez.

I am appalled!!! Where was the secret service guy who is supposed to TAKE THE SHOE for him????
Yeh, it is easy to take the bullet, but try the stinking shoe. No way.

Next time, our soon to be the worse X emperor, has a press conference (if there will be one more or the last one), to prevent any pieces of clothing going his way, all press should be made to go in naked.
After all this lame duck "Emeror has no clothes".
Just make sure that the little girl does not get in. No point having her tell the truth at this time of the eight years of nightmare we all got through.
Just let him be as he is so the people will see him for what he is for the rest of his time.
Good riddance!!!
