THE PARTY GOES ON AND AMAZON NEAR SELL OUT OF WHISTLEBLOWER!

For those who have already been to the party, THANK YOU!

The idea is to have lots of fun. Just enter the door below.

Also, let me tell you about the latest news: THE WHISTLEBLOWER has jumped from Amazon sales rank #150,000 Saturday to the latest record this morning of #1,530.

But not only that, if you are interested in the book, you better order fast. Amazon is close to a sell out. If you order today they will ship tomorrow, but if you want super saver free shipping, they can't ship until September 16, and if you want to have more than one (all those birthdays and christmans gifts coming up), you have to wait until September 18. My publisher is also close to sell-out and new printing could delay all shipments.

SO ORDER NOW before newspapers and radio stations cover this story.

We already have two new reviews, from Bloomberg and BrandWeek, see THE WHISTLEBLOWER - REVIEWS and radio stations are lined up for this week, I'll tell you more later. And I also have ANOTHER big surprise. Tomorrow.

Why, in heaven's name, would anyone want to read this book? Well...If you want to have a first-hand and accurate account of how pharmaceutical science has been taken down by a bunch of smarmy and unctuous marketing sphincters, then this is the best one to-date. Congratulations Peter! You're "over the wall" while Monday means I'll be back at it in the photo backdrop from two years ago.

  7. Wow Doc, what a lot of work you and the Insider put into this! I SO don’t want to go to work! There is a 50% chance of rain today (maybe yes, maybe no) and if it rains, I can stay home and play. Otherwise, Hi-ho hi-ho...

So I will be back ASAP!

PS. Love the dancers (especially the cat), love the videos (especially Aerosmith), it’s too early for magic (it freaks me out) but I will check it out later, I can’t wait to disco (the Bus Stop was always my favorite), and HOW AWESOME IS YOUR NEW BOOK!!!!

Be back soon, save some fun for me!

  8. Congratulations on your book and party!

I wrote a contrarian review of Peter's book on Pharma Marketing Blog: click here.

You can also find a couple of funny clips from 2 great movies, a video on folding a shirt (great for when you are on the road), and a few music videos.

Seriously, though, I admire Peter for his courage in taking this path and being very creative in his joust with Pfizer!

    Party On!

This is a great review, however contrarian. Regarding presentation of the facts as facts or as fiction (and therefore embellished with better sex scenes), this was a 'creative' decision that Dr. Rost will now live with. There's still more books in him, I'm sure of that. And perhaps one of them can be full of fictionalized corner office sex. I'll read that one too. Promise.

  10. I agree. Peter won't be a one-trick pony! Once his war with Pfizer is over, who knows what he can do?

  11. Ah hah! A book! I was hoping you'd go with the results of that poll - and I guess you were already pretty well into it...and we just let ya know you were on the right track. Best of luck with the book...hope it takes off for ya!

  12. We had a party crasher coming by.

He appears to have been drinking too much, and he is now leaving. This may result in a short time delay before your comment becomes visible.

Wow, some party! First time I had to do that!

Another surprise? What could that be as the success of the book was predictable? My private hope is that the corporate life forms in Radnor will be reeling (especially one whose initials are coincidentally, BS...)from announcement that the sequel will involve them. Peter, this is great! It's about time that someone from the inside summoned up the courage (Hard Sell was narcisstic)to write about the Pharmaceutical Potemkin Village.

    Hi Peter!
Nice party. My first blogparty! I´m doing my best to try to imagine NY, though I´m at the countryside in the northern region of Sweden! Figured out it might be a book....as someone said at the party: you are already writing! And have done before. In fact I remember the first book you ever wrote!
Congrats to the sucess of your book. ;)

Peter, you are an abject failure as a loyal comrade in the crusade to project the party line. You will never be a member of the Central Committee! Your internal dossier shows numerous deficiencies as a manager/team leader. 1.) you didn't forward enough meaningless e-mails 2.)participation in brain-drool teleconferences was lacking 3.) you didn't figuratively or literally screw the people in your business group 4.) you did not contribute to the weasel-word balance. The biggest transgression is 5.) your daily productivity was not determined by how much diet pop you could turn into urine. You actually produced something worthwhile, demonstrated the courage to expose the debris we call management and, to top it all off, now you're continuing your success and having fun! It's people like you who cause unrest!
