Want to save a YouTube video?

Or want to save some other video from the web to your computer?

Go here, this is an online converter. Pretty nifty.

  1. Well it would be very nifty it it worked better since it would cut out a step of downloading it then having to convert it like I had been doing.

I tested it out to convert to avi and I couldn't read it with Win Media Player since it said it needed an extra codec not available then I tried to play it with a DiVX player and it only played 2 seconds of it.

I tried to convert it to a mov file and it said Failed to Render with my Quick Time Player.

But thanks for posting the link it was a good idea to spread around in theory, they just need to work on getting it applied better.

I have better luck with keepvid.com for getting footage I can use but I still have to jump through the hoops of converting it after I download it there.
